My original watercolour artworks in my solo art exhibition this year (2024) are on sale online now!
Lewisham is one of the boroughs in South London. Do you know that there are some hidden gems so that you can see the beautiful sky view of Central London? Because there are small hills in Lewisham. This is where the idea came from, eventually ending up having a solo exhibition in a gallery (ArtDog London) April and May this year.
Now I have more than 30 pieces of original artwork showcasing different places and aspects of Lewisham, which is one of the boroughs in London. They are in A3 or A4 sizes and they need to go before November because I will need to move and can't keep them. If you are interested in buying my works, feel free to choose DM me on Instagram, or email me himalbum@gmail.com.

Background of the creation
Lewisham was the first place I stayed when I came to this country two years ago. Even though I then moved to Bromley (Crystal Palace and Beckenham) so far I still have a certain relationship with this borough because of running through it to Central and even north London (yes, long distance up to half marathon) sometimes. Thus the area impressed me a lot.
Greater London is overall flat especially compared to my home country Hong Kong, which has a lot of mountains. However there are a lot of elevated and hilly areas, and Lewisham is no exception.
When running through parks and according to some local’s recommendations of their places, it made me think the hilly areas in Lewisham are quite unique. For example, while most people especially tourists say Primrose Hill and Hampstead Heath etc. are great to see the sky view, the related spots here are like hidden gems, and one of the locals who is living in Sydenham is so proud of the spot near to him which is much better than Parliament Hill that he strongly recommended me to go.
As a early morning runner who sometimes runs through different areas of Lewisham, I would like to make use of my sketches to show those hilly areas in the borough: we can see the city, we can see the terrain.
